I was just driving around city with node in my car. I have send at SF11 and tried on SF12 without ADR, and always lost node when outside 115 zone. But now after few days I see nodes with -120 RSSI so everything seems fine now. Thanks.
I am also curious about the fault on the converter-board. I received it yesterday, integrated it into my working setup and noticed the software-reset was not working anymore, i had to reset by hand on the board to get it to work.
Also something got hot so i already stopped using it.
I am interested to know what has to be changed to make it work..
@peterz Hi,The design layout in WisNode-Lora reserve the area for LC filter circuit. The purpose is provide
the flexibility for the developer to adjust the components value to reach best RF performance
with external antenna. The different value should depends on the Casing, Design and position
etc. Also, we have silk print with L1(see picture 1.0）. The default components we used as CAP in
this area only for basic function. Therefore,is not required soldering C13, C14;Reason:
And on our WisNode-Lora Board, there is no strong signal source near the antenna line. So
no need to add LC filter; and in the position of L1, we welded a capacitor. You need to decide on
what to do according to the actual situation.
I think there is some problem with the rak811 firmware.
As you can see in the following image, only one of every two messages is really sent in the 868.1 freq; in other words, one message is sent properly, but the following message is always sent a bit drifted.
hi, the port is to define a specific application with your gateway or network server, for example port 2 ,is used to follow a format to send the sensor, battry, gps infos etc. So your can define your application with the same port . and if there is a downlink control data from network server to your device (module), it can also use the same port .
