@coeus I think your problem is that OS X (as well as virtually any operating system besides DOS and Windows) sends a line feed if you press enter. RAK811 original AT firmware expects DOS style line endings (carriage return, followed by line feed). Screen under OS X sends newline only. You can try CuteCom. I use it under Linux, because you can select the line endings there .
Can you remove/ cut one side of strip? Why we don’t remove because heat sink is same dimension of entire converter board but can’t fit inside enclosure! If you buy enclosure, you just need remove one side strip and don’t put heat sink on top! We have another thermal filter for you.!
In addition, to help you cut the one side strip, Pls use tweezers and cutter to remove one side strip, passed cutter over border to make it easier to snap, and snapped it with tweezers. the tools we recommend to use below one
@audorva Well, that's not too easy to answer. If you got a good rssi (singal strength) but much noise (low snr), you won't receive anything. Same if you got no noise (good snr) but the signal is too low (bad rssi). You can look at the link budget for a hint.
